As a local, you have the right to know what's going on in your area. The Clarendon in Chandlers Cross - not 2 minutes from The Grove - is now making its own headlines, with our very own news letter, Good Times. You have the right to know that such a great venue is on your doorstep, and for us to inform you as to what's on offer in terms of enjoyment.
Since opening back in February, and more so of late, The Clarendon has changed. We have listened to our Customers and reacted to make our restaurant and bar all the better. The proof is in the pudding, and here at The Clarendon the proof is also in the decor, ambience, service, and all importantly - the food. We receive numerous Customer comments, including those from people who decide it simply is not for them. We always take on board what our Customers tell us, and go out of our way to deliver precisely what they want. What we have is a delightful restaurant and bar that is relaxed, informal and buzzy.
Two become one
We have just launched our brand new menu, so even for those of you who know and love us there is something new and interesting to experience on your next visit. What were two very different menus and dining styles have now become one. New additions include such delights as a range of amazing steaks from the famous Ginger Pig Company, roast lobster done the best way with fries and home-made garlic mayonnaise.
For regulars, you will note that we have kept or reintroduced some of our 'signature dishes', such as wood-baked English onion soup and our 36-hour cooked ham, duck egg, chips and beans. See over for the full menu. Best we let the food speak for itself next time you come dine with us. Enjoy reading it though in the meantime.
Christmas beckons
The Christmas clock is ticking, and the festive season always means dining out at some point. Book The Clarendon for a lunch or dinner with work colleagues, friends or family. Come feast on a Turkey Wellington with apricot and chestnut stuffing, or maybe go for our Pork Belly with roasted apple and braised red cabbage? Our full Christmas menu can be downloaded from our web site - www.theclarendon.co.uk
We also cater for groups of 8 and over on our Christmas menu, which is priced sensibly at £27.50 for lunch, £30 for dinner. For sake of speed when you book, you can now also sort it online, go to christmas reservations.
